About Erica 

Erica grew up in Gloucestershire, the younger daughter of a GP and a Nurse. Whilst not inclined to work in the Health sector, Erica has always had a strong inclination to nurture. After finishing school Erica went on to study Beauty Therapy Sciences at Stroud College, qualifying in 2006. Throughout her career, Erica has continually added to her professional delelopment.

Erica’s first role was at Champney’s Forest Mere. Transferring skills learnt in a classroom to a luxury health spa environment with the expected service skills added was certainly a learning curve. This experience has influenced Erica’s treatments and education projects for the last 15 years of her career.

Upon leaving Hampshire and returning to Gloucestershire, Erica went on to work at Calcot Spa. This beautiful boutique spa allowed her to see repeat clients regularly, really demonstrating the results that come with regular treatments. As a part of the Calcot team, Erica very quickly became the go to masseuse for guests and staff alike, and took responsibility for massage training and development of the team.

After over 3 years at Calcot Spa, Erica was invited to work for Aromatherapy Associates London, based at the Knightsbridge Boutique. This role included delivering treatments to a very high standard, working in business development and supporting the education team.
Remaining a part of the Aromatherapy Associates family, Erica then worked for their ‘brother’ company, The Refinery Grooming Spa in Mayfair. This was one of the UK’s first and most prestigious men only grooming and spa locations. Once again, Erica earned herself a reputation as a fantastic masseuse and facialist.

Erica remained in London to take a role at EVE LOM, a luxury skincare brand, founded by a world renowned facialist. As the Head of Education, Erica worked closely with Product Development, created new treatment protocols and designed and delivered training seminars and treatments to clients and members of the press internationally.

After returning to Gloucestershire during the pandemic, Erica now aims to create balance in her work; between sharing her passion and knowledge with the Beauty Industry and delivering the best of treatments with the high service standards that are so important to her.
